How the charity treats the information it gathers
International Christian Media Commission (ICMC or the charity) is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.

How the charity stores personal data
All information provided to us is stored securely. Payment transactions are processed via trusted third parties and are encrypted. We use PayPal and give.net to process donations and payments.
The transmission of information over the internet is never completely secure. The charity will do its best to protect personal data, but cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to its site; any transmission is at the contact’s own risk. The charity uses strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
The charity retains personal data only for the time necessary to provide the services requested. This data is held in electronic databases and paper form. Retention of data is reviewed at least annually and deleted when appropriate. Financial records are retained for at least seven years.

For a copy of the personal information held about an individual, that person should write to ICMC, 131 Grattan Road, Bradford, BD1 2HS. An individual whose data is held by the charity may request that it be provided to them in an accessible portable electronic format. If requested, the charity will normally provide this as a CSV file.
When the charity is satisfied of the individual’s identity it will send a copy of the personal information that it is legally required to disclose. The charity does not, normally, charge for this service but may do so if individuals make frequent or unreasonable requests.
