How the charity treats the information it gathers

International Christian Media Commission (ICMC or the charity) is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.

This policy applies to information collected by direct contact and via the charity’s website and associated websites. These sites are referred to collectively here as "the website".

The charity is the Data Controller of personal information that this policy applies to under the Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation.

The charity uses strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

The charity retains personal data only for the time necessary to provide the services requested. This data is held in electronic databases and paper form. Retention of data is reviewed at least annually and deleted when appropriate. Financial records are retained for at least seven years.
