ICMC was formed in the 1980s to facilitate partnership between Christians working in the arts and mass media.

Two major international conferences provided opportunities for those working in the general and Christian media to exchange ideas, forge friendships and work together. Many local and regional networks grew from these events.

Now ICMC's focus is on supporting particular initiatives as well stimulating the Church to action.

Our main networks of activity focus on media training and what we sometimes call the traditional media.

The International Communication Training Institute - ICTI is our training partnership. The latest ICTI training edition of Catalyst is always available online.

GoodWork is a project aiming to serve the third sector (charities, non-profit and faith based agencies) to build institutional capacity and accredit life and work-based learning.
